Unlike the previous two months, this month’s podcast doesn’t delve too deeply into our articles but instead opens up new territory on the topic of Uncertain Transitions.
I appreciated your invitation A.M. with "ritual" , your inquiry Joan, and the closing Rebecca - "ritual is a mindset not behaviour". I related to what you all shared in one way or another, and Joan's bringing "language" was the highlight of this dialogue for me. As it feels, we "make meaning" of concepts (language) based on our context and experiences, and the question is how does that sit in a "collective meaning making - sense making"? I stay with that inquiry at the same time I acknowledge that your conversation, expanded the definition and shed light to multiple perspectives, leaving it for us to bring our own understanding of it.
Going back to Language, and how it guides and how it is contextual - when I was hearing "process" in the podcast, I was hearing "procedure" not process as my heart knows it - process for me is fluid, is emergent, with conscious participation anchored in the now and anchored in intention (another perspective of 'ritual'), possibly?
what a wonderful conversation, thank you!
what stays with me is: Language!
